Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of FWD Insurance's social media on public perception of insurance in Indonesia. Amidst the low insurance penetration and prevailing negative sentiment toward the industry, social media plays a critical role as a channel for communication and public education. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 respondents who are followers of FWD Insurance's official social media accounts across various platforms. The results show that FWD Insurance's social media has a significant impact on public perception, particularly in cognitive and affective aspects. These findings reinforce the notion that digital communication strategies, especially through social media, can serve as an effective tool to shape public opinion and enhance insurance literacy. Hence, social media can be a vital catalyst in building a positive image and fostering public trust in the insurance industry.
