Abstract
This study investigates the effects of perceived usefulness, ease of use, risk, and trust on users' intention to adopt digital banking in Jakarta, with attitude serving as a mediating variable. Grounded in the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study collected data from 210 respondents via an online survey and analyzed the data using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that perceived ease of use, perceived risk, and trust significantly influence intention to use, whereas perceived usefulness and attitude do not. Moreover, attitude does not mediate the relationship between the independent variables and intention to use. These findings highlight the dominance of functional and risk-related factors over attitudinal considerations in digital banking adoption, offering valuable insights for both academic development of TAM and practical digital banking strategies in Indonesia.
