Abstract
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is one of the most common injuries among athletes and active individuals, often requiring surgical reconstruction. Post-operative physiotherapy management, particularly during phase 2 (weeks 3 to 6), focuses on improving muscle strength, neuromuscular control, and pain reduction. This study aims to describe the physiotherapy interventions provided to a patient in post-operative ACL reconstruction phase 2, involving strength training, neuromuscular control exercises, and the use of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). The outcomes demonstrated significant improvements in lower limb muscle strength, enhanced neuromuscular control, and a notable reduction in pain intensity. These interventions are recommended as essential components of post-ACL reconstruction rehabilitation programs
