Abstract

Indonesia, as one of the world’s most populous Muslim majority nation with a rapidly expanding sharia economy, still plays a relatively minor role in the global sukuk market, and domestic sukuk issuance lags well behind conventional government bonds. Growth is further constrained by limited public awareness of these instruments. This research seeks to assess whether sharia financial literacy, perceptions of investment risk, and levels of religiosity influence specialist doctors’ interest in sukuk at Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital. Adopting a quantitative design, the study surveyed 35 actively practicing specialists via a questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 27 shows that interest in sukuk investments is positively impacted by sharia financial literacy in a statistically significant way., while perceived investment risk and religiosity do not exhibit significant effects.
