Abstract

Burnout syndrome is an increasingly concerning issue in the modern workplace, including within PT X’s seismic survey project. Burnout is caused by factors such as demographic factors, individual factors, and work environment factors. This study aims to identify the factors influencing burnout syndrome among seismic survey workers at PT X. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The study population was selected using total sampling at PT X, totaling 124 workers. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to be filled out directly by respondents. The data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the chi-square test. The results showed that 49.2% of workers experienced a high level of burnout syndrome. There was a significant association between working hours (P = 0,046) (POR = 1,508 ; 95% CI = 1,026-2,217), sleep quality (P = 0.030) (POR = 1.658; 95% CI = 1.042–2.640), and job demand (P = 0.043) (POR = 0.653; 95% CI = 0.438–0.974) with burnout syndrome among seismic survey workers at PT X. To reduce the risk of burnout syndrome, it is recommended that PT X provide psychological support services, review working hour policies and work allocation systems, as well as allow sufficient rest periods.
