Abstract

Education is a series of activities aimed at maximizing a person's abilities through a dynamic and enjoyable learning process. Advances in technology have opened up opportunities for the application of digital learning platforms such as Learning Management Systems as an alternative to optimize more effective and adaptive learning. Biansu Tutoring, which has been operating since 2011, initially implemented a conventional learning system in its operations. This system was later identified as having limitations in monitoring students' learning progress and distributing learning materials. This study was conducted with the aim of designing a web-based Learning Management System application to optimize the learning process at the Biansu institution. The methodology applied in this study was Rapid Application Development, which allows the system to be developed quickly and involves user participation at every stage of development. The designed system includes various functions such as learning content management, question banks, quizzes, and a feedback system. In determining the requirements for the Learning Management System, this study considered several important aspects including user experience, feature suitability, access speed, and development capabilities. The implementation of this study resulted in a system design in the form of a webbased Learning Management System application that can be used at the Biansu Tutoring Center
