Abstract

Dojo Karate Maharaja, a martial arts training institution established in 2014, still relies on manual administrative systems for managing attendance, membership fee payments, and training schedules. This dependence on conventional methods has led to various issues, including delays in information delivery, recording errors, and difficulties in tracking historical data. To address these problems, this study aims to design and develop a web-based management information system that fully digitalizes the dojo's administrative and operational processes. The development method used is the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing using black box testing, and maintenance stages. The system includes features such as kohai registration, digital attendance, training schedule management, fee tracking, private class booking, and tournament registration. Testing results show that the system meets functional requirements and improves efficiency, data accuracy, and ease of access to information for users. The system provides practical benefits to dojo administrators by streamlining administrative tasks, helps kohai and parents access information independently, and enhances the professionalism of dojo management. Additionally, the system has the potential to serve as a digitalization model for other dojos across Indonesia.
