Abstract

Various industrial sectors are increasingly leveraging digital technology to address a range of challenges. Currently, Keva Store Beringin relies on Microsoft Excel for inventory management. Store employees encounter difficulties in accurately determining product availability, as Excel does not facilitate real-time stock tracking. The processes of searching for and updating data are also time-consuming, particularly when managing a larger number of items. There is a pressing need for a web-based inventory information system connected to a database. The PIECES analysis approach and Rapid Application Development methodology are employed in the development of this system. The system is implemented using a MySQL database and is built with PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. The outcome of the inventory system implementation is that information regarding stock levels is presented in real-time and with accuracy, thereby facilitating Keva Store Beringin in managing its inventory more effectively.
