Abstract
East Jakarta continues to experience rapid infrastructure and public facility development; however, disparities in access to education, healthcare, and public services persist in several areas. This study aims to classify residential environments in East Jakarta using the K-Means method to identify specific patterns in each urban village based on demographic data, healthcare facilities, education, and public services.The K-Means clustering method is applied to group 65 urban villages in East Jakarta into several clusters based on residential environment characteristics. The results indicate that Cluster 2 has the best access to education and healthcare, while Cluster 0 has the least number of slum neighborhoods and the best environmental conditions. Cluster 3 has the best fire preparedness, whereas Cluster 1 faces challenges in accessing healthcare services and public facilities.These findings provide valuable insights for more effective urban planning and data-driven decision-making. The study results are also presented in a visual map illustrating cluster categories for each urban village, which can help the government and stakeholders improve the quality of life for East Jakarta residents.
