Abstract
Poverty is a condition in which a person is unable to meet their daily needs because not all economic sectors can be basic sectors, causing low income distribution, and also caused by the low quality of human life and high unemployment rates. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Number of Unemployed, GRDP Per Capita, and Human Development Index HDI on the Number of Poor People in Aceh Province, using data from 23 districts/cities during the period 2018 - 2022. The analysis technique in this study used Panel Data Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the JP variable has a positive and significant effect on JPM, the GRDP Per Capita has a negative and significan effect on JPM, while the HDI has a negative and significant effect on JPM.
