Abstract
This study aims to examine the optimization of content moderation mechanisms in Indonesia to address the challenges of electronic information manipulated by artificial intelligence. Using a comparative study method, the research analyzes content moderation approaches in Australia through the Online Safety Act and in Singapore through the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act (POFMA). The findings indicate that strengthening digital literacy, establishing an independent supervisory body, and drafting adaptive regulations, while considering local cultural contexts, can be implemented to create an inclusive and effective content moderation mechanism in Indonesia. The adaptation of moderation principles from these two countries is deemed capable of protecting society from the impact of manipulative information without compromising human rights.
