Abstract
The implementation of information technology can simplify educational administration, including the process of registering new students. At TK Islam Perkasa, the registration process is still conducted manually, involving paper form filling, data verification, and physical document archiving. Parents are required to visit the school or contact the school via WhatsApp to obtain information regarding the school's profile, procedures, and registration methods. This manual system not only consumes time and effort but also complicates data management for the school. The lack of data integration often leads to document duplication, physical archive accumulation, difficulties in data retrieval, and challenges in maintaining accurate and reliable information. Therefore, a web-based student registration information system that is integrated with a database is necessary. The design of this information system employs the Agile methodology and utilizes PIECES analysis. This system is developed using the Laravel framework with PHP programming language and supported by a PostgreSQL database. The result of this information system design allows for online registration, which not only saves time and effort but also reduces the potential for errors in data processing. The registration data that was previously managed manually can now be processed quickly and accurately due to its integration with the database.
