Abstract
The emergence of TikTok Shop as a social-commerce platform has had a significant impact on the trade sector in Indonesia, especially on digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the legal implications of the implementation of TikTok Shop, especially related to the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 31 of 2023, considering the irregularities in its implementation. This study will also examine the role of the government in supervising trade through electronic systems (PMSE), with a focus on TikTok Shop, and look at the relaxation provided by the government. The method used in this study is normative legal research, which analyzes relevant laws and regulations and other legal sources. The results of the study show that the relaxation provided by the government causes irregularities in the operation of TikTok Shop, because its implementation is not in accordance with the provisions of Permendag No. 31 of 2023 which has been stipulated by the government.
