Abstract
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supporting clinical decision-making is becoming increasingly relevant. This technology has the ability to transform many aspects of patient care. Some of the factors that influence the utilization of AI in ICU rooms are nurses' knowledge and perceptions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and nurses' perceptions of AI utilization. The method used was cross sectional, conducted in November 2024. A sample of 69 ICU nurses at RSUD Tarakan Jakarta was selected by total sampling. Data on nurses' knowledge and perception were collected using a questionnaire. The collected data were tested using spearman rank. This study found that there was a strong significant relationship with positive direction between knowledge and nurses' perception towards AI utilization (p-value=0.000, r=0.561). Training and counseling on the benefits of AI is important to improve nurses' understanding and perception towards AI utilization in the ICU.
