Abstract
This study is quantitative research aimed at identifying the factors influencing Regional Expenditure in regencies and cities within Bali Province. The research utilizes secondary data obtained from the Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan data source for the period 2017–2023. Data analysis is conducted using a panel data regression approach with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), complemented by classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using STATA 17 software with a 5% (0.05) significance level. The findings indicate that: (1) Local Government Revenue (PAD) and General Allocation Funds (DAU) individually have a positive and significant effect on Regional Expenditure; (2) Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) have a positive but insignificant effect on Regional Expenditure; and (3) Specific Allocation Funds (DAK) exhibit a negative and insignificant effect. Collectively, PAD, DBH, DAU, and DAK significantly contribute to explaining the fluctuations in Regional Expenditure across regencies and cities in Bali Province.
