Abstract
Economic growth is an important indicator of successful economic development for a country. The indicators used to influence economic growth include the human development index, the open unemployment rate and the inflation rate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect economic growth in West Java Province. The analysis technique used is Panel Data Regression which is a combination of time series data for 10 years from 2014 - 2023 and cross section data of 27 districts / cities in West Java Province using the selected model Fixed Effect Model (FEM) and the data is processed using Stata-17 with a significance of 5%. The results of the study show that the human development index variable and the open unemployment rate have a significant negative effect on economic growth, while the inflation variable has no effect on economic growth.
