Abstract
Bali Province is one of the provinces that prioritizes the development of human resource quality based on the government's vision and mission and the philosophy of life of its people. The success of Bali Province in human development can be seen using the Human Development Index which is measured based on three main dimensions, namely longevity and healthy living, knowledge and a decent standard of living. This study aims to analyze the determinants of the Human Development Index in Bali Province. The method used in this study is panel data regression analysis with a sample consisting of 9 regencies/cities in Bali Province during the 2018-2022 period. The variables used in the study include GRDP per capita (PDRBP), government expenditure in the field of social assistance (PPB), and the labor force participation rate (TPAK). The results of the study showed that GRDP per capita had a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Bali Province, while government expenditure in the field of social assistance and the labor force participation rate did not have a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Bali Province.
