Abstract
Sharia mutual funds play a role in the level of sharia financial inclusion with a fairly stable development. It can be said that people know sharia finance but have not utilized it because in practice, sharia financial inclusion is still low and cannot be compared with Islamic financial literacy. This study uses sharia financial literacy as a moderating variable to examine how Generation Z's interest in investing in sharia mutual funds in Jabodetabek is influenced by factors such as income, religiosity, and risk tolerance. In determining the sample of this quantitative research, a non-probability sampling strategy combined with purposive sampling method was used. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents and the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach using the SmartPLS tool. The data was tested with the outer model, inner model, and moderation test. The test results show that Generation Z's interest in investing in sharia mutual funds is not significantly influenced by income. Meanwhile, religiosity and risk tolerance affect Generation Z's investment interest in sharia mutual funds. Sharia financial literacy as a moderating variable cannot strengthen income, religiosity or risk tolerance on investment interest. The implications of this research provide insight and education for generation Z in choosing safe investments, as well as views for sharia mutual fund companies in mapping products that match the risk and return that generation Z is interested in.
