Abstract

PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk is a leading food and beverage company in Indonesia. Over the past five years, Indofood's sales growth has been driven by flagship products such as Indomie and snacks. However, consumer purchasing decisions influenced by the popularity and innovation of Indofood's products have also contributed to the increasing amount of single-use plastic waste. This raises environmental concerns, particularly regarding plastic pollution that negatively impacts ecosystems. This study aims to examine the influence of green marketing, halal awareness, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on purchasing decisions for halal food products of PT Indofood in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents and analyzing the data using SEM-PLS, focusing on evaluating the outer and inner models. The findings reveal that green marketing, halal awareness, and SDGs significantly influence and enhance purchasing decisions for halal food products in Jabodetabek. This study is expected to provide insights for practitioners to pay more attention to the environmental impact of production activities, for regulators to formulate policies supporting the development of the halal food industry that aligns with SDG principles, and for academics as a reference for further research on this topic.
