Abstract

A country's economic growth is generally driven by its regional economic growth. Gross Regional Domestic Product is commonly used to assess regional economic growth. ADHB GRDP is an indicator of the calculation of per capita income that reflects the welfare in a region. Bali Province is known to be one of Indonesia's international tourist destinations. Being an international tourist destination, this allows Bali to be more open to the global market. The tourism sector is the largest contributor to Bali's GRDP. Investment in property, goods and services, and tourist attractions can be a source of income for local residents. But even so, Bali's ADHB GRDP value is still in the medium category, ranking 17th nationally. Similar to GRDP, the value of foreign investment in Bali is still in the medium category at 15th, while for labor and HDI, Bali province is in the high category, ranking in the top 10 nationally. The goal of this study is to determine the influence of foreign investment, labor, and HDI on GRDP in Bali province. Foreign investment in this study uses the value of foreign investment realization, labor in this study uses the number of labor force, and HDI uses the percentage of HDI level. The sample used is 8 regencies and one city in Bali Province with a range of years 2008-2023. This study uses secondary data acquired from the official website of BPS Bali Province. The method used in the analysis in this study is the panel data regression analysis model using the Stata 17 program. The results indicated that the variables of foreign investment, labor, and HDI partially had a significant positive effect on GRDP. Simultaneously, foreign investment, labor, and HDI together affect GRDP.
