Abstract
Unemployment is one of the main indicators of labor market conditions that can reflect the success or failure of Jambi Province in creating productive jobs. This creates a lack of job diversification and complex challenges in reducing the open unemployment rate in Jambi Province. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze which Regency/City is included in the optimal category in the combination of labor force participation rate, minimum wage, gross regional domestic product, and education. This study uses a continuous analysis technique, namely Crisp-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (csQCA). The objects used are 11 Regencies/Cities in Jambi Province in 2023. The results of this study show that Regencies/Cities with optimal open unemployment rate outcomes based on a combination of optimal labor force participation rate, minimum wage, gross regional domestic product, and education conditions are in Jambi City, Muaro Jambi Regency, Sarolangun Regency, Batang Hari Regency, and West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The Quick Wins Smart City program is a flagship program in Muaro Jambi Regency which is designed to optimize the increase in the labor force participation rate, minimum wages, gross regional domestic product, and education to reduce unemployment rates in Muaro Jambi Regency.
