Abstract
Uterine myoma is a benign tumor of the uterus, that could manifest as different symptoms according to its location. In this study, data is gathered from patients diagnosed with uterine myoma and also experience symptoms, such as pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, or abortion. Analysis is done to identify the pattern between myoma location and its clinical manifestations. Results of this study are hoped to give an education about the effective management of uterine myoma. Objectif : to identify the association between pain, AUB, infertility, and abortion with uterine myoma location. Methods :This study is a quantitative observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 51 samples are gathered in this study. Every variable is gathered from medical records. Data analysis included univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. Results: 36 participants (70,6%) experienced pain, 32 participants experienced AUB (62,7%), 8 participants experienced pregancy loss (15,7%), and 14 participants experienced infertility. There was a significant correlation between AUB and myoma location (p=0,002). Meanwhile, there was no significant correlation between pain (p=0,166), infertility (p=0,748), and abortion (p=0,689) with uterine myoma location. Conclusion : There is an association between Abnormal Uterus Bleeding, but there was no association between Pain, Infertility, and Abortus with Uterine Myoma Location.
