Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Operational Performance at PT Burda Contraco. This research is based on the importance of operational performance as an indicator of the success of PT Burda Contraco in completing projects on time according to the contract given by using Total Quality Management (TQM) variables, such as teamwork, continuous improvement, education & training, and employee involvement & empowerment. The method used is quantitative with the SEM-PLS approach using the SmartPLS 4.0 application tool to perform inferential analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires on Google Forms to respondents consisting of all employees of PT Burda Contraco. The results showed that (1) Teamwork has an insignificant effect on operational performance, (2) Continuous Improvement has an insignificant effect on operational performance, (3) Education & Training has a significant effect on operational performance, (4) Employee involvement & empowerment has an insignificant effect on operational performance, (5) The four elements of Total Quality Management (TQM) jointly affect Operational Performance. This research provides practical recommendations for the management of PT Burda Contraco to integrate the elements of Total Quality Management (TQM) in daily operations.
