Abstract

Indonesia is listed as one of 100 countries with high poverty rates in the world. Indonesia is in 73rd position out of 195 countries with high poverty rates in the world in 2022. To overcome this problem, appropriate policies from the government are needed that not only solve the problem of poverty but also improve the welfare of society evenly. The conditions of RLS, TPAK, PDRB per capita, and PMDN can answer these problems which ultimately achieve the 2nd Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): increasing the average number of people in obtaining education, reducing poverty levels, increasing labor force participation, increasing income per person in each Province which has a high level of poverty, as well as encouraging the entry of domestic investment in each Province which can encourage a reduction in the level of poverty, where the goal to be achieved is to see which Province has an optimal level of poverty and find out the achievement of RLS, TPAK, PDRB per capita, and PMDN in 34 Provinces in Indonesia in 2022 using the Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) method. The research results show that there are 5 (five) clusters with optimal poverty levels and 3 (three) clusters with contradictory poverty levels. Regions with optimal levels of poverty seen from the conditions of RLS, TPAK, PDRN per capita, and PMDN are East Nusa Tenggara, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara, Lampung, Central Java, West Kalimantan, Papua, West Papua, South Sumatra, Maluku, Aceh, DI Yogyakarta, Bengkulu, and West Java. It is hoped that the relationship between these conditions and the poverty level can reduce the poverty level and see what programs have been successfully implemented by local governments which can then have a positive effect on the poverty level through these conditions. Keywords: RLS conditions, TPAK, PDRB per capita, and PMDN, poverty level, QCA
