Abstract

Background: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) are disorders of the musculoskeletal structure in the upper and lower extremities. Computers are a very helpful work tool, especially for office workers. As a result, this can pose a risk of disturbance or discomfort to the body, which can cause musculoskeletal disorders. Office workers are one of the people who can be affected by chronic musculoskeletal health problems. Office workers have a very complex physical work environment, interacting with several workplaces, work equipment and work tasks. Purpose: this writing is to find out what musculoskeletal complaints often occur in office workers in various countries. Design: The research design in this scientific paper uses the literature review method. This method is one of the techniques used to prove or approach certain problems. It can be attributed to the fact that this literature review is a scientific process to obtain results or output in the form of a report. Results: Based on the five journals that have been summarized and analyzed, all journals provide results that the research shows that office workers are susceptible to musculoskeletal disorders due to inappropriate posture and habits. Most region problems are neck, upper and lower back.
