Abstract

The government functions to run the government system in order to ensure that the functions of a country can be carried out optimally. Financial affairs are an important element among the many affairs in a complex government system. Financial implementation in a government is outlined in the annual financial report as a form of accountability for government implementation. These regional financial reports can be analyzed to find out how regional finances are implemented, whether they are optimal or not. Moreover, in the last few periods, especially 2010 - 2022, there have been many events that have affected the economy. This research aims to determine the level of efficiency, effectiveness and regional independence ratios in the West Java province in the period 2010 - 2022. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this research uses secondary data from various sources such as those obtained through literature reviews and literature studies. The results of this research show that the regional financial efficiency ratio of West Java province is at 117.03%, the effectiveness ratio is at 110.38%, and the independence ratio is at 272.81%. This indicates that the financial performance of the West Java provincial government can be said to be very good in implementing its budget into efficient budget items and encouraging improvements in the quality of the economy and public services in the community which will ultimately provide reciprocity in the form of a level of regional independence in the West Java province. generates very high regional income so that it does not depend on the central government.
