Abstract
Banks responded positively to government policies that implemented the green economy concept by implementing green banking. In implementing the green banking concept, banks have guidance in the form of regulations issued by the Financial Services Authority, Bank Indonesia, and the Green Coin Rating as one of the indicators. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, one of the Sharia Commercial Banks, applies the green banking concept and focuses on the Sustainable Finance Action Plan through sustainability reports with aspects of economic, social, and environmental performance as a form of support and responsibility for the policies implemented by the government. This writing aims to understand how to implement the green banking concept at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk for 2021 to 2023 by using the Green Coin Rating as an indicator to achieve a sustainable position economically, socially, and environmentally. This writing uses a descriptive analysis method with data collection techniques such as literature study, observation, and documentation. Secondary data sources are obtained through e-books, e-journals, relevant previous writings, and the Sustainability Report of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk for 2021, 2022 and 2023. The writing results explain that PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk has implemented green banking corresponding to each point listed in the Green Coin Rating indicator. and positively impact bank performance in the social economic and environmental fields.
