Abstract

This research discusses the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in the Decision Support System (SPK) to determine the best participants in the Perguruan Silat Teratai Halilintar Level Promotion Examination. The manual processes currently used require a long time and a lot of human resources. This research aims to increase efficiency and reduce human error by formulating the SAW method. The proposed system automates the calculation of scores and data integration via a website platform, increasing the effectiveness of determining the best participants. The Rapid Application Development method was used in designing this system. The research output is a website-based SPK system that speeds up and makes the participant selection process more transparent. Recommendations for further research include improving calculation models, developing assessment features, and improving the website. This research also includes a discussion of Pencak Silat, Perguruan Silat Teratai Halilintar, and Level Promotion Examinations in the context of Pencak Silat.
