Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze legal protection for the rights of workers with fixed term employment agreements in terminating their employment relationship before the contract ends and the company's responsibility for the rights of workers with fixed-term employment agreements in terminating their employment relationship before the contract ends. This research method applies normative juridical law using a statutory and case approach equipped with primary legal sources, secondary legal sources and tertiary legal sources. The results of this research indicate that companies must not act arbitrarily by terminating employment before the contract ends and must remain guided by the legal provisions that have been established and workers who are terminated before the contract ends are entitled to legal protection for their rights to compensation money. As for the company's responsibility, the company is required to provide the right to compensation money, the amount of which is calculated based on the term of a certain work agreement that has been implemented by the worker.
