Abstract

With rapid technological advancements, efficiency in managing research title submissions has become increasingly crucial, especially in academic settings. The conventional process of submitting and validating titles often encounters issues such as long wait times and potential title duplications. This study aims to design and implement a web-based system to streamline the title submission and verification process. The system includes admin login functionality, title similarity testing, and integration with a title repository to enhance efficiency. Development of the system utilizes the Gin framework in Go and incorporates the Levenshtein Distance algorithm to measure title similarity, following an agile development methodology. The result of this research is an application that reduces verification times, minimizes title duplication, and improves administrative efficiency in the research title submission process for students.
