Abstract

In our busy dan stressful daily lives, many people feel overwhelmed dan stressed, necessitating ways to alleviate these feelings. Caring for pets, especially cats, can have a positive impact on human mental health. However, taking care of cats requires time dan effort, particularly in monitoring their health dan the conditions of their living environment. Several studies have been conducted to address this issue, including monitoring cats' body temperature dan providing automatic feeding. This research aims to design dan implement Internet of Things (IoT) technology in a monitoring dan control system for Cat Care System to improve the quality of life of cats. The components used in this research include ESP32, MLX90614 GY-906 Sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor, DHT11 Sensor, RTC DS3231, Servo Motor, Relay, 16x2 LCD, 5V Water Pump, Exhaust Fan, dan the Telegram application for monitoring purposes. The research results show that this system successfully performs remote health monitoring of cats dan automatically controls parameters in the Cat Care System using IoT technology. This research provides a solution to enhance the monitoring dan care of cats, contributing positively to the quality of life of these pets.
