Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions. The financial performance ratios measured in this research are liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios with an observation period of 1 year before and 1 year after mergers and acquisitions. The sample in this research is non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2020 period and totaling 17 companies. This sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique for this research uses the Paired Sample T-Test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of this research show that there are no significant differences in liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios before and after mergers and acquisitions.
