Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Foreign Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership and Corporate Social Responsibility programmes on Profitability in the agricultural sector in Indonesia. Variables in this study include foreign ownership, managerial ownership, institutional ownership and Corporate Social Responsibility programme. The population in this study were 42 agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the sampling method used was nonprobability sampling type purposive sampling. The samples in this study were 10 agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2022 period. The data analysis in this study uses the panel data regression method processed using EViews Version 10, where this application is used to analyse the panel data test, model accuracy test (F test), variable significance test (t test), and determination coefficient test (R2). The regression model to be used in this study is the time series panel data regression model. The results of this study indicate that (1) Foreign Ownership, (2) Managerial Ownership, (3) Institutional Ownership, and (4) CSR programmes have no effect on profitability in the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
