Abstract
Abstract Financial statements are structured summaries regarding the performance and financial position of an entity, according to Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK). An important component of comprehensive financial statements is the explanatory material, which usually includes the balance sheet, income statement, notes, other reports, and statements of changes in financial position that can be presented in various ways, such as cash flow statements or fund flow statements and other statements. This final project relies on secondary data obtained from the financial statements of PT and the audited and published annual financial statements of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi. Both the official PT website and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, accessible at www.idx.co.id, provide access to these data sources. PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk's annual report can be viewed at www.mitratel.co.id. Mitratel, whose full name is PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi TBK, generated a net profit of 2.01 trillion Indonesian Rupiah in 2023. This net profit was IDR 1.78 trillion last year, up 12.5% from the previous year. Financial statements serve as a communication tool between people with an interest in a company's financial data or operations and those parties, as they provide an overview of financial operations and are the final product of accounting activities.
