Abstract

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is a driving force for the progress of the Indonesian economy which was established on December 18, 1968. To support sustainable banking, BRI has created a Sustainable Financial Action Plan (SFAP) based on the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 51/POJK.03/2017. In its commitment, BRI applies the principles of Environmental, Social, & Governance to its business operations. Environmental is waste from company operations. Social is the relationship between the company and the reputation between the community and the Company. Governance is a policy taken by the company in overcoming ongoing problems. This study shows BRI's commitment to supporting corporate sustainability through renewable energy projects, human resource efficiency, and environmentally friendly technology. The purpose of writing this final assignment is to find out the strategies carried out by BRI in reducing climate change. The writing method used in this final assignment is descriptive analysis. By collecting data through literature studies from literature sources such as annual reports, sustainability reports, and other information. From writing this final assignment, it explains that BRI's commitment strengthens the sustainability of business operations to manage climate risk.
