Abstract
As the condition of the earth becomes increasingly worrying, banking agencies are one of the agencies that participate in environmental conservation activities in the form of initiating green banking practices. In this case, the banking in question is a bank with a core capital of more than IDR 70 Trillion or called KBMI IV Bank. This writing aims to find out how green banking is implemented at KBMI IV bank as a form of support for the ESG program: Environmental, Social, and Governance. The writing method used is descriptive analysis with data collection techniques through literature study and documentation study. The data sources chosen are secondary data obtained through Sustainability Reports from eack bank, related articles/sites, as well as journal reports published by previous researchers. Based on the results of the discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the implementation of green banking in Indonesia is covered by several regulations such as Financial Services Institutions, Issuers and Public Companies. The implementation of each ESG pillar has been carried out well by each bank, both from PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Keywords: Green Banking, ESG, KBMI IV
