Abstract

Konveksi Indira, which has been engaged in the production of underwear since 2007, faces issues in managing raw material inventory that are still done manually. This manual process leads to recording errors and difficulties in tracking raw material stock. This study aims to design a web-based inventory management information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to improve the efficiency and accuracy of raw material management at Konveksi Indira. The system development employs the RAD method because it allows end users to be directly involved in the development process. Moreover, this method facilitates system development within a short timeframe and with limited human resources. The system is designed using PHP, CSS, and HTML programming languages and provides accurate and real-time information on raw material inventory. The results of the study show that the developed system is capable of minimizing recording errors, enhancing transparency, and improving efficiency in inventory management. The system has undergone black box testing and operates well, providing an effective solution for Konveksi Indira in managing raw materials.
