Abstract

Garbage Bank PEPELING07 trash bank is still managed manually, with officers recording the trash bank data on paper. This can cause data loss due to missing paper or human error. The purpose of this research is to help solve problems that arise due to an uncomputed management system. So the research stream used is the waterfall method, which is part of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. The authors presented UML (Unified Modelling Language) object-oriented tools at the design stage, such as use case diagram modelling, activity diagram, sequence diagram and class diagram. The development of this information system uses the PHP programming language with the framework CodeIgniter and MySQL as its database. The research has produced a website-based information system with several features, such as customer data, balance data, article data, workshop data, garbage sector data, and trash sales data, which is expected to help the waste bank officer manage and provide a service information system in the Waste Bank PEPELING07. Because the data can be stored well in the database and can be backed up periodically to prevent data loss, this system is expected to be able to handle the data loss problem.
