Abstract
This study was made as an assessment of the important reasons for criminal politics as a way to prevent cooperative abuse as a mode of money laundering and how to take ideal steps as a measure to prevent money laundering in cooperatives. The review of writing is carried out by normative juridical legal research, which then using the legal approach, is analyzed qualitatively. The conclusion of the results of this research study is that the existence of legal regulations has not been able to overcome and prevent money laundering in cooperatives, so the government should improve applicable laws related to cooperative regulations and take preventive steps such as increasing training and supervision.
