Abstract
Complex problems often occur in connected criminal cases because of the differences between the general justice system and military justice. This has the potential to hinder the realization of fast, simple and lowcost justice in the case handling process carried out. The aim of this research is to analyze and find out how The handling of criminal cases is connected and what is the position, role and function of the military judiciary after the formation of the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes, this research method uses normative research carried out with literature studies and secondary data sources which include primary legal materials in the form of the Book of Laws. Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Law number 31 of 1997 on military justice, law number 11 of 2021 concerning the Prosecutor's Office, and Perja Number 6 of 2019 concerning the organization and work procedures of the prosecutor's office, as well as other secondary legal sources such as relevant journals or scientific articles. The data was then analyzed using qualitative analysis, namely analyzing the material using descriptive writing techniques by explaining in detail and systematically the resolution of the problem. The results of this research are expected to be able to determine the position, role and function of the military judiciary after the formation of the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes and to ensure certainty and justice. and the usefulness of law in connection criminal cases.
