Abstract

This research aims to explore how recognition, measurement, and disclosure are carried out in friendships from both financial and non-financial perspectives. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a case study approach. Information was gathered from informants who were friends of the researcher, consisting of five individuals. The backgrounds of these informants include both students and working professionals. The results show that each informant considers and recognizes their friends as very close and solid, as indicated by the analysis. They measure, admit, and express qualities such as honesty, trust, mutual willingness, comfort in interaction, recognition as close friends, and the expression of friendship value. The novelty of this research lies in using friendship as an example of accounting, a topic that has not been discussed in previous studies.
