Abstract
PT Aguna Jaya Pramono, a newly established company in the construction and general trading sectors, specializes in the rental of heavy equipment such as Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, and Vibro Rollers, with a total inventory of approximately 35 pieces of heavy equipment. The company has not yet optimized information technology in its business operations and faces limitations in managing heavy equipment rentals. This results in difficulties for customers due to the lack of information regarding equipment availability and the potential for human error by the admin in record-keeping and price calculations during business processes. This study aims to design a database and web-based information system to support the heavy equipment rental operations of PT Aguna Jaya Pramono. The information system is developed using the SDLC Waterfall method with the Laravel 8 framework and utilizes MySQL for database management. The implementation of a good information system and database is expected to improve the company's operational efficiency and effectiveness, as well as facilitate customer transactions.
