Abstract
Adolescents as the next generation are vulnerable to low self-resilience, which will have an impact on health such as sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies, early marriages, abortions and dropping out of school. This research aims to increase self-resilience in adolescents through the innovative intervention of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). A of 2 teenagers who have low self-resilience in RW 01, Grogol Village, Limo District participated in providing innovative SFBT and CBT interventions. The provision of SFBT and CBT innovation interventions was carried out over 9 meetings with a time of 60 minutes per meeting. The result of implementing this intervention was an increase in self-resilience in both teenagers. The first teenager experienced an increase in self-resilience of 16 points, originally having a self-resilience score of 34 to 50 (high self-resilience) and the second teenager experienced an increase in self-resilience of 11 points, originally having a self-resilience score of 28 to 39 (high self-resilience). The implications of this implementation indicate that there needs to be optimization in the implementation of innovative SFBT and CBT interventions for adolescents who have low self-resilience. The results of this research provide recommendations to community nurses in the form of combining innovative SFBT and CBT interventions to increase self-resilience in adolescents.
