Abstract
The Android-based bus ticket booking application marks an innovative step in providing a more practical and efficient solution. The existence of this application opens up easier access for users to carry out transactions anytime and anywhere without geographic or time restrictions. This application allows users to order tickets electronically without having to visit a physical terminal or agent. Therefore, an innovative system must be created to provide a more practical, efficient solution. The author conducted research to design an Android-based bus ticket booking application that is integrated with a GPS Tracker Prototype using GSM SIM808 to enable users to carry out online transactions easily and easily. fast, this application is responsive to actual conditions by providing real-time information about departure schedules, seat availability, and bus positions allowing passengers to make timely decisions. This application was created using Android Studio and a GPS Tracker prototype tool using the GSM SIM808 module to retrieve location data from satellites, ESP32 to control components and send data to Thingspeak, Thingspeak to retrieve and store data, and the power source uses a 6v battery connected to a DC 6v stepdown to 5v Test results show that the Android Bus Ticket Ordering Application has been successfully developed so that it is able to display and execute commands, as well as the GPS tracker prototype in the Android-based bus ticket ordering application which uses the SIM808 GSM module has been successfully designed, so that it successfully sends the location data to the ordering application display bus ticket.
