Abstract
Abstract Background : Bronchopneumonia is an infection of the airways entering the lungs (bronchi), caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi, more often affecting babies and young children because their immunity has not yet developed. Symptoms of bronchopneumonia can worsen and cause serious complications if left untreated. So it requires appropriate therapy and prevention to control bronchopneumonia. This study aim to analyze and obtain an overview and information regarding how nursing care is implemented for pediatric patients with bronchopneumonia. Methods : This research uses the case study method in nursing care for An. S with Bronchopneumonia at Khidmat Sehat Afiat Hospital, Depok City. From 14 February 2024 to 16 February 2024. Collecting data obtained such as interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation. Results : The nursing diagnoses that emerged were ineffective airway clearance related to airway hypersecretion, hyperthermia related to the disease process, nutritional deficit related to increased metabolic needs, knowledge deficit related to lack of exposure to information. Implementation of nursing actions in accordance with priority problems and outcomes from each diagnosis for 3x24 hours. Problems with ineffective airway clearance, hyperthermia, nutritional deficits, and knowledge deficits can be resolved. Conclusion : The implementation provided by the client is appropriate, based on nursing care. So that the resulting diagnosis is resolved. Keywords : Nursing Care, Bronchopneumonia
