Abstract

Inventory is one of the most important things for a restaurant because it is related to the quality and expiration of raw materials and products sold. Therefore, a restaurant should have a complete, efficient, and timely inventory record. Restaurant Inventory Information System becomes one of the important components in restaurant management to ensure the availability of raw materials and equipment needed in daily operations. This research aims to design and build an efficient and integrated inventory information system for ROA Manadonese Food restaurant. This information system development method is based on the Agile Method. Data collection is done qualitatively by conducting observations, interviews, and literature studies. From the data that has been taken, problem identification is carried out using the PIECES method. The resulting inventory information system will help record raw materials and fixed materials, contact suppliers, manage and monitor stock, view expirations, record expenses, simple data visualization, and print reports. This restaurant inventory information system is developed with PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL database. The implementation of this inventory information system is expected to increase the productivity and operational efficiency of ROA Manadonese Food and make a positive contribution to the growth of the restaurant. Thus, the development of this inventory information system can be a strategic step to improve the quality of service of ROA Manadonese Food Restaurant and increase competitiveness in the midst of a competitive restaurant market.
