Abstract
Many consumers in Indonesia still do not understand consumer rights and obligations and most consumers in Indonesia are still being cheated by sellers. The scope of this research is legal protection for BIG BRAKE KIT consumers and resolution of problems caused by sellers who do not provide specifications on the buying and selling platforms they use as well as ways and efforts to prevent these problems. This research will be conducted using normative legal research methods because the main data source for this research is the norms that apply in society, especially legal norms. Regulations related to consumer protection, apart from consumer protection against non-transparent transaction issues in buying and selling activities, can also use UUPK as a basis. There are several ways to prevent problems from occurring in online transactions on unofficial platforms. One way is to recognize the characteristics of a seller who could be a fraudster. With this, it is hoped that the community will avoid this problem.
