Abstract

Bintang Komputer CCTV is a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) that specializes in CCTV installation services and retail sales of CCTV products and accessories. Located in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, the store has been operating for one year. However, every month during the 2023 period, the store experienced an overstock of CCTV cameras, particularly the Dahua Cooper Outdoor 2MP model. A concrete solution is needed to overcome this issue, namely inventory forecasting. The forecasting method used is Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) with validation and accuracy measurement using Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The forecasting model was developed on the Google Colab website using the Python programming language. The prediction results with 5 epochs and an RMSE value of 0.114382, indicating an accuracy of 88.56%, with X = Stock Plan and Sold Stock and Y = Stock, resulted in a forecast of 111 units for the following year. Furthermore, the scheduling of stock purchases is presented through a Gantt chart that shows the restock quantity for each week over 12 months. The largest restock occurs in the first week of January and May with 18 units, while the smallest restock is zero, which generally occurs 1-3 times per month. Consequently, the inventory management of CCTV cameras at Bintang Komputer CCTV can improve with the reduction of overstock.
