Abstract
Drug addicts are increasing every year, so rehabilitation is needed. Drug addicts can choose a rehabilitation place according to their individual wishes. The Indonesian government provides medical rehabilitation places such as the Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO) and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), but the number of rehabilitation places is not sufficient. The Sahabat Pekan Pebaya Foundation (YSRS) is a private institution in Jakarta that provides social rehabilitation for drug addicts which has been accredited A by the Ministry of Social Affairs. The advocacy communication used is one of the success factors for YSRS in rehabilitating drug addicts. This research aims to analyze the advocacy communication process during the rehabilitation period for drug addicts at YSRS during 2023. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The theory used in this research is advocacy communication based on the stages of analysis, strategy and mobilization. action, evaluation and sustainability. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with selected informants from the foundation as managers and residents. Researchers analyzed data based on Robert K. Yin's case study analysis techniques which include: compiling, dissembling, reassembling and arranging, interpreting and concluding. The research results show that advocacy communication carried out by YSRS is a resident profile interview for the analysis, selection and determination stages appropriate to the resident's level for strategy, which is carried out through the resident's family's choice, namely inpatient or outpatient care. Actions are carried out through referrals to hospitals for severe levels and YSRS activities for light and moderate levels. The YSRS evaluation stage is carried out based on the resident's daily review, and the continuity stage which is the continuation of rehabilitation is carried out by monitoring WA groups and involving entrepreneurial activity programs available at YSRS.
