Abstract

This research discusses the impact of China Pakistan cooperation through CPEC on air quality in Pakistan using Green Theory, cooperation and SDGs. Qualitative research methods are used with descriptive research. The research background is due to environmental damage due to CPEC collaboration. This contrasts with their respective commitments to sustainable development. The research results show that CPEC collaboration has an impact on poor air quality due to coal-fired power plants that do not heed the principles of sustainable development. As a country committed to sustainable development, efforts are being made to stop the construction of coal and energy mix power plants. However, these efforts are only lip service considering that both countries still use coal as a priority in meeting their needs.
